Job Description: The Manager, Marketing Automation & Campaign Strategy is responsible for the technical infrastructure that supports all of marketing including tools and technology, process, measurement, and governance. This role will manage marketing automation tools (specifically Marketo & Infor/Orbis), work with appropriate teams to interface Marketo leads/data with CRM systems, support marketing demand generation programs, refine and advance strategy for assessing impact of marketing programs through development of standard and custom reports, KPIs, dashboards, and processes to track and improve marketing effectiveness. The role works with Global Marketing Managers globally & Marketing Operations to drive continuous improvement in marketing automation, A/B and multivariate testing, and the application of best practices in multi-channel digital campaigns.

•Devise and manage projects to integrate marketing technologies.

•Manage system enhancements/upgrades and oversee deployment to the global marketing team.

•Manage vendor contacts and contracts relative to Marketing Automation Systems and Tools.

•Troubleshooting system issues/bugs.

•Consult on and assist Marketing in crafting automated marketing campaign programs.

•Identify areas of improvement leveraging marketing automation.

•Manage the budget for marketing resource management and automation platforms.

•Implement lead lifecycle campaigns, with involvement in all aspects of the process from target identification to testing to post-campaign reporting (programs include lead management, nurturing, routing and scoring).

•Develop and implement strategy for ongoing control, maintenance and enhancement of marketing database process in the Marketo platform.

•Automate and improve data integrity and data management initiatives, including segmentation implementation and analysis, list management, and lead processes in Marketo and Salesforce.com.

•Identify opportunities for integration to optimize the inclusion of customer data and associated data to drive increased targeting and segmentation- including integration with external tools such as event app, survey monkey etc +

•Work with cross-functional stakeholders to support audience monetization efforts

•Liaise with cross-functional management to develop new email programs.

•Develop flexible templates to employ email best practices and support dynamic content generation.

•Act as the thought leader for the Marketing Organization on lead nurturing methodologies and content-based messaging.

•Collaborate with Marketing management to identify and implement processes to increase sales opportunities and sales cycle efficiencies through database management and refined lead management strategies.

•Drive effective audience management and re-engagement programs.

•Ensure that Marketing Organization has ongoing training in the use of the tools and work with broader team to ensure that full documentation is in place and updated as the business and tools evolve

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

•2+ years of business-to-business marketing operations experience.

•Lead management process development and execution; marketing campaign execution, including segmentation and building campaigns within a marketing automation system.

•Understanding of –and proven experience with - lead nurturing and scoring leveraging marketing automation and integration is essential.

•Knowledge of integrated marketing campaign best practices (including email contact strategy) is essential.

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

•System administrator level knowledge of marketing automation systems, Marketo preferred. Marketo certification a plus.

•Working knowledge of and experience with Salesforce.com,

•Experience with integrating marketing automation systems with external tools such as event app, survey monkey etc + API knowledge is preferred.
