The Associate Tax Analyst is responsible for designing and testing software for use by CPA firms and corporations. The successful candidate must be versed in tax law and able to use electronic research tools. The candidate will apply knowledge of income tax laws and tax filing processes to define, analyze, design and support federal and state tax software product development.
The Tax Analyst will:
•Design the complete user experience for all assigned products, including input, calculations, help screens, electronic filing, and printing functionality
•Conduct product testing and debugging of tax programs to ensure accuracy and complete functionality.
•Test assigned products and cross-test products designed by other analysts
•Provide seasonal customer support
Qualifications: •Accounting, or related degree
•Public accounting tax preparation experience or corporate tax department return preparation experience helpful
•Self-motivated and able to work on multiple tasks at the same time
•ProSystem fx software user experience a plus
•Commitment to providing exemplary customer service
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills in identifying and resolving issues
•Strong organizational, documentation, verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to make strong individual contributions while still working in a team environment
