As part of the team based in the heart of Chicago, you'll help build and develop leading patient engagement products at Wolters Kluwer Health-- a global, innovation-driven healthcare technology company working at the front-lines of patient care.
As a Product Manager, you'll use your experience and skills to help take our overall product strategy from idea to reality. You'll work with a team of designers, clinicians, software engineers, and other product managers to tackle healthcare's most complex challenges. Essential duties and responsibilities:
Own various product projects from start to finish -- i.e. from ideation, through development, to release
Ensure our solutions can successfully integrate with electronic health record (EHR) vendors using both current and emerging industry standards to meet CE business objectives
Assist with product development activities across multiple functional teams (UX, Development, Client Experience, Marketing) on coordinated, on-time product delivery
Understand the product vision and strategic initiatives to ensure development of products aligns with vision
Help design, write, and prioritize user stories
Attend standups, weekly project check ins, and answer questions about the product vision
Manage pilot/beta sites in conjunction with end users
Document and track enhancement requests as well as assist in bug prioritization
Assist with release and feature launches by creating internal communication plans, providing all required training information to internal teams, and leading launch project plans
Research various topics using interviews with internal and external clients/prospects
Conduct research on vendors and competitors to identify those that are competitive or complementary to our solutions
Create and maintain product documentation including SOPs and best practices
Assist in maintaining the product marketing materials
Assist with gathering data for case studies, and ROI analysis
Education: A Bachelor's of Science (BS) is required or equivalent relevant experience
At least 5 years of work experience
Self-motivator with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Well-organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to interact with clients and project team members (both internal and external)
Ability to handle multiple tasks with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Experience in healthcare IT preferred
Experience working with software solutions preferred
Experience with project management preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Up to 5% travel
