We are searching for a Sales Proposals Manager to join our team in Waltham, MA.
The Sales Enablement Proposal Writer is a key member of the Global Sales Operations team. This role will support the development of structured sales proposals for CE solutions globally.
This individual will develop the necessary understanding of our products and CE solution messaging to craft proposals to differentiate CE offerings from the competition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the internal response teams to develop compelling responses to structured RFx customer requests (RFP, RFI, RFQ, tenders) and various questionnaires
Communicate with all levels within the organization to secure the necessary information and data to assist with specific questions and requests
Write and edit proposal content
Improve efficiency of reusing prior responses
Develop and manage the RFx response content repository
Ensure proposals adhere to internal review standards and processes
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required
Skills & Requirements :
8+ years writing and developing structured proposals, preferably in high tech / software
Strong writing and project management skills
Highly organized, customer-focused, with strong attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, collegial, and open to feedback
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively partner with the Sales team, Product Management, Finance, Marketing and other cross-functional proposal contributors
Highly proficient in MS Word and exposure to Excel
Experience with proposal response software desirable
