Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable sales growth through winning new corporation accounts that meet or exceed sales goals

  • Learn full line of CT services including features, benefits, pricing, intended use, value proposition and competitive position to effectively serve clients

  • Learns and executes the sales process for CT products and services by staying fully informed of the prescribed sales process; understanding the complexities of selling products and services to corporate legal and financial departments

  • Follow a comprehensive sales process; updating and managing sales pipeline information for an assigned list of prospect accounts while driving and developing business

  • Manage time and resources effectively while representing Wolters Kluwer within the industry and territory

  • Contribute to sales planning and forecasting activities

  • Manage assigned prospect account list that supports a healthy sales pipeline by reviewing prospect account list

  • Organize customers by segment and opportunity utilizing communicated sales call flows and work flows, researching contact information for decision makers and influencers

  • Create efficient prospecting processes; building daily and weekly call lists; and maintaining information within the Salesforce.com CRM database in accordance with timing and content standards

  • Drive new business/customer development to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals by planning for and conducting prospecting/introductory calls with sufficient volume to establish a full calendar of phone meetings and application demonstrations

  • Improve CT market share within the territory by identifying organizations within assigned territory and unit thresholds using competitors as registered agents

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or a minimum of two years of sales or service experience; preferably selling complex professional services

  • Experience or ability learning extensive industry and product knowledge, performing sales process activities, capturing and recording key prospect data, conveying value proposition to prospective clients, negotiating and influencing decisions and/or aggressively pursuing deal closure

  • Ability to meet or exceed key performance measurement

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
