Wolters Kluwer's GRC division is looking for a Deal Desk Consultant to join our Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) Solutions team in Hartford, CT or Houston TX.

The Deal Desk Consultant will be a key stakeholder and contributor to the ELM Sales Team which is charged with selling Enterprise software to corporate legal departments in the United States and EMEA. This role will take the lead on contract review and facilitate the deal approval process with the various key stakeholders to help shorten the length of the sales cycle. The Deal Desk Consultant will help ensure that deals and contracts are reviewed, structured, consistently evaluated, approved, and closed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Lead Contract review process with assigned sales team and cross-functional support teams
Take ownership of closing sales opportunities efficiently and help ensure opportunities complies with company policies
Provide exceptional service to our customers and highly accurate input into our customer relationship management system including Salesforce and NetSuite
Manage and provide regular communication, order status and support to assigned sales team and compile status reports
Provide a true customer centric environment to better support the sales team and customers
Engage a "hands-on" approach to complex situations or escalations and work with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies
Evaluate current processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvement
Complete any ad-hoc projects as they transpire
A minimum of three years of complex deal management and/or contract negotiations experience working in a sales environment
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
At least seven years of direct and/or inside sales management experience preferred
Experience with tools and process enabling remote connection to internal systems
Experience with Sales Management Software such as NetSuite and Salesforce
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Successful and extensive experience with directing national sales teams during periods of significant sales, marketing and product transition preferred
Knowledge of the inside sales environment, sales process coaching and management, performance management, and employee recruiting is beneficial
Ability to drive programs to transition customer bases to new products and technologies
Strong customer focus with outstanding communication, leadership, management, and strategic thinking skills
