Lead project delivery by providing consultant guidance to internal and external teams and serving as the delivery consultant to meet client expectations on projects
Plan client engagement activities such as kick-off meetings and serve as the single point of contact for clients
Manage delivery to project plans, including resources, schedules and budgets
Identify and challenge scope and work estimates that seem extraordinary, providing acceptable alternatives as needed through the entire life cycle of the project
Understand contractual obligations outlined in the statement of work to help ensure effective and timely scope management and staffing
Identify and mitigate project risks while delegating project deliverables to project resources and help ensure timely completion to agreed project dates
Manage delivery team performance and serve as the first point of escalation for issues
Perform weekly project re-planning using the baseline plan to help ensure delivery dates are met while instituting a rigorous process of inspection of project deliverables and team activities to accurately track project status, quality, issues and task estimates to complete
Coordinate project activities and deliverables between the U.S., India and partner resources
Conduct regular client and internal status reporting meetings to communicate project schedules and deliverables to all resources
Manage client invoicing in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and project delivery schedule and billing arrangements
Monitor project budget (cost and hours) and manage profit and loss margin
Help ensure timely acceptance of client deliverables to accurately manage revenue recognition and manage technology elements impacting project schedules
A minimum of six years of project management experience with at least four years of experience implementing solutions related to information technology; preferably with legal industry experience
A minimum of six years of functional or technical experience in the role of a business analyst, quality assurance analyst or technical developer
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; PMP certification preferred
Experience with Agile or other similar implementation/development processes that serve as part of Wolters Kluwer-Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) ComPASS methodology
Experience working with relational databases and managing multiple external clients
Experience leading projects/implementations related to configurable products with simple to complex integrations with other applications used by clients
Understanding of relational databases, automated testing tools and processes, RUP development, as well as J2EE
Strong professional consulting skills with the ability to leverage internal tools and policies for optimal financial roll-up, time tracking and milestone management
Ability to travel up to 80% at any given time
