  • Primary responsibility is to manage software development teams throughout the entire software development project lifecycle, including facilitating the planning, construction, testing, and deployment phases

  • Focus on supporting SaaS-based and on-premise enterprise software development teams working on new features as well as maintenance and upgrades to existing functionality

  • Participates in process improvement activities, including creating new processes, monitoring and auditing existing processes, and reporting

  • Lead projects with development teams of internal/external developers, testers, analysts, and product managers using Agile/Scrum

  • Coordinate deployment of releases to clients with internal business areas ensuring development and testing are completed on time

  • Updated documentation, training, client support, and client communications are in place

  • Identify any issues and risks for the team and project, and manage any open issue or risk to resolution

  • Report sprint and release status and participate in status meetings

  • Follow the company's stakeholder communication plan

  • Ensure all artifacts are accurate and documents clearly define the scope and status, and receive stakeholder approval

  • Prepare timely, clear, and concise periodic reports and presentations for management


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related technical field, or in lieu of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required

  • A minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master including building and managing project/release plans, managing risk, scheduling, estimating, and resource planning, using agile principles

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile development practices

  • A minimum 3 years of experience in a software development environment including solid functional knowledge of software development processes

  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors and associated deliverables

  • Experience managing geographically-dispersed teams/ working with offshore project teams

  • Experience working with MS Project, SharePoint, and TFS/Visual Studio

  • Maintain and exhibit a strong ability to work with and influence people at all levels of the organization

  • Possess a proven track record of success in leading projects involving multidisciplinary teams and requiring extensive collaboration skills

  • Managing projects using an iterative methodology such as Agile or Scrum

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment

  • Proven problem solving skill and the capacity to think creatively under pressure

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

  • Quick learner with an ability to understand new processes

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Good time management skills
