The Web Graphic Designer is responsible for utilizing a variety of mediums in the creation and design of a wide range of marketing assets while managing workflow. The Web Graphic Designer collaborates with the Marketing Communications Team to design and produce marketing materials, and assists in the design and maintenance of the company website. Projects include email campaigns, infographics, interactive digital content such newsletters, ebooks, presentations, various print pieces and mailers, as well as website design. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and process-driven with a precise eye for compelling marketing creative. He/she should be proficient in all aspects of creative workflow. This includes visual-communication production and the look and feel of design projects.
Plan and design content, including graphics, images, icons, banners, landing pages, calls-to- actions, advertisements, tradeshow graphics, etc.
Maintain website content and graphics
Create custom website pages, landing pages and email templates
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the right digital content is positioned in the right place to deliver value to our prospective customers
Ensure the enforcement of brand guidelines company-wide
Coordinate with internal customers, outside vendors, printers, etc. to complete projects
Conceptualizes and creates graphic design solutions, from concept to completion, including the preparation of electronic files for a variety of final media.
Works closely with internal clients to develop strategies and materials that achieve their goals while adhering to corporate standards/templates.
Designs may integrate typographic, photographic, illustrative and graphic elements. Excellent written, listening and interpersonal communication skills and excellent organization and planning skills.
Establishes and maintains primary and backup vendor relationships which can support final project within tight deadlines.
Provides design consultation and graphic recommendations for enhancing overall layout quality, attractiveness, and effectiveness.
Takes initiative to learn/understand requirements and/or goals of project to effectively support and deliver product that meets/exceeds client expectations.
Able to effectively manage multiple projects with competing/changing deadlines.
Must function well in team environment, making contributions to advance overall team capabilities.
Knowledgeable in design principles, practices, techniques, and processes.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (BFA)
Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in graphic design.
Works independently with minimal guidance.
Manages own time, determines work priorities, and develops plans for short-term work activities to meet agreed targets.
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services.
Solves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
5+ years relevant experience
3+ years of professional experience in Digital + Web design
Ability to use Google Analytics and SEO tools to analyze website user trends and recommend/implement changes
