Responsibilities:

  • Retain existing corporate accounts and drive profitable sales growth in compliance services such as hCue, ARMS, and business licenses for customers in mid to high volume corporate legal departments within an assigned territory

  • Defend current representation customers and pursue expansion into CT's full suite of services

  • Learn and stay informed on the complex and comprehensive CT product line, as well as learn and follow a comprehensive account management process

  • Identify sales opportunities from assigned list of accounts and pass those leads to business consultants and corporate account executives; managing time and resources effectively

  • Contribute to new product development and software issue resolution that meet customer needs by identifying gaps/issues where current products do not meet client requirements

  • Improve CT market share within the territory by identifying departments/business lines in target accounts using competitive products

  • Represent Wolters Kluwer within the industry and territory; and contribute to sales planning and forecasting activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or if no degree, at least three years of sales or military experience; preferably with legal/compliance customer service experience and/or solutions based sales experience

  • Entry Level candidates need to have relevant work experience through part time positions/ leadership positions such as college athlete, student government, clubs, and/or internships through college

  • Experience with any type of cold calling or outbound sales calling strongly preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Experience and commitment to managing the effective use of a CRM such as Salesforce.com to drive results

  • Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of oversight

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, along with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
