Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting is looking to hire a Learning Architect. This position will engage with stakeholders from various parts of the business to analyze training needs and to design training programs; including classroom lectures, eLearning courses, and workshop sessions, directed towards Wolters Kluwer employees, business products, and services. This individual will utilize desktop tools and multimedia design tools to develop learning solutions, in class and eLearning. In addition, this individual will assist in organizing and updating existing content. This position will coordinate with business leaders and subject experts to ensure content is created and delivered on time and successes are communicated with leadership. Work with other members of the training team to organize training events, monitor registration, and deliver training via live webinars and onsite instruction. The Learning Architect will maintain training evaluation feedback and identify training improvements. The individual will update training plans and curriculum as needed.
This position serves as mid-level professionals in the Service Excellence organization. They perform a defined scope of work in a particular work area. This position requires that the individual interact with multiple departments to assess learning needs and create appropriate training material for the Service Excellence function.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
Analyze departmental learning needs and identify knowledge gaps to recommend learning solutions.
Determine learning assets before contributing to content development, measure overall success.
Assist with the development of instructional curriculum, course outlines, presentations, handouts, and visual aids using ADDIE methodology.
Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure that prepared courses meet stated objectives; accumulates training evaluation feedback, and identifies training improvements.
Partner with others on the training team to ensure all training content meets adult learning practices.
Design and develop learning content, instructor led and eLearning, for specific learning programs related to products, process, and procedures.
Develop measurable learning objectives/outcomes to assess the impact of learning solutions.
Determine appropriate instructional methods such as self-directed, classroom instruction, simulation exercises, role-plays, etc.
Establish timeline for development and implementation, tracks project's milestones and delivery dates, and perform necessary tasks required to successfully complete and roll out programs.
Prepare training project status reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders, subject experts, and other key contributors.
Work with training manager to develop and manage a certification process that aligns with our job levels and functions.
Identify, resolve, and escalate issues when necessary.
Provide general reporting on data/status to management as requested.
Support co-workers and promote a positive work environment.
Secure and keep confidential product and customer data.
4-6 years' experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of solutions for learning. Specialized experience includes instructional design, development and maintenance of training plans, training delivery through web-based and onsite training courses, and eLearning development; in-depth knowledge of Adult Learning methodologies (ADDIE, SAM)
Intermediate to advanced skills in training design software: Captivate, Storyboard, Camtasia, SnagIt.
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, or a related field required with at least 5 years of Instructional Design and Development experience

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Highly developed communication skills, including both excellent verbal skills and accurate written communication.
Persistent in overcoming challenges to accomplish goals.
