Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting is looking for Sr. Software Engineer to work out of our Kennesaw GA office.

  • Design, build, test and deliver high quality, complex frameworks and systems and diagnose and resolve complex issues.

  • Design and deliver multi-tier SaaS products with web-based, plugin-based, mobile-based clients on the Microsoft C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack.

  • Design and build robust SOAP and REST-based Web Services with versioning.

  • Generate innovative approaches and solutions to complex issues. Develop proof of concepts for these technologies.

  • Provide software architecture skills to new enhancement projects..

  • Coach, support and mentor less-experienced staff in their career development, and provide them daily guidance and direction.

  • Influence peers and technical staff within the team and collaborate with internal customers and work teams across departments.

  • Understand the use of technology and how its implementation affects strategic business goals

  • Responsible for resource and project estimates and ensures that implementation follows designs, and directs modifications of designs.

  • BSCS or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software development.

  • Requires 5 years of paid programming with Web, Windows .NET framework and C# with 3 years as a senior software development engineer and/or technical lead with similar roles / responsibilities.

  • Expert at designing, coding, and implementing with 24/7 stability, performance, scalability, localization requirements in mind.

  • Possesses deep design and delivery experience of multi-tier SaaS products with web-based, plugin-based, mobile-based clients on the Microsoft C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack (ASP.Net, HTML5, REST, WCF, etc.).

  • Proficient in object-oriented design and development.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL database design, T-SQL and stored procedure programming required.

  • Experience implementing quality up front initiatives and continuous build and automated unit test frameworks

  • Experience with coding patterns and software development of best practices.

  • [MSL1] Successful track record of delivering high quality products on time while working in Agile Teams and following Agile methodologies

  • Able to coordinate technical standards within a development team.

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to strongly influence peers and technical staff within the team.
