Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., a subsidiary of Wolters Kluwer Health, is seeking to add an Application Specialist to our Implementation Team in Madison, WI. Under general supervision, the Application Specialists work closely with our internal and external clients on the implementation and training for our products. This involves the configuration and modification of applications using established guidelines to integrate with client workflow, and provide application training. Application specialists are viewed by the client as application subject matter experts and typically serve as the first tier of support during implementation.

Under general supervision, the Application Specialists work closely with our internal and external clients on the implementation and training for our products. This involves the configuration and modification of applications using established guidelines to integrate with client workflow, and provide application training. Application specialists are viewed by the client as application subject matter experts and typically serve as the first tier of support during implementation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather requirements from clients to appropriately coordinate implementations

  • Configure applications according to client specifications

  • Coordinate and facilitate external training for new and existing clients

  • Communicate to clients the status of implementation issues being addressed

  • Using Salesforce, document progress on projects

  • Escalate issues or implementations that require further assistance to Customer Success or Leadership as needed

  • Maintain deadlines and turnaround time for work as set by Leadership

  • Provide open training sessions as needed

  • Provide development of training resources and materials as requested

  • Assist in the development of team processes and procedures in an effort to streamline and increase efficiency

  • Act as a resource to the Leadership team and other internal teams on special projects

OTHER DUTIES

Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education: High School diploma required or equivalent; Bachelor degree preferred

Experience:

  • 1+ years experience in a customer service or tech support role preferred

  • 1+ years experience technical/software training preferred

  • Experience working within a pharmacy or hospital setting preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong technical aptitude skills

  • Client focused, possesses desire to help

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Up to 5% travel may be required (occasional site visits)
