Wolters Kluwer is focused on driving digital sales and marketing (DSM) capabilities along a best practices maturity model. We are looking for a talented, motivated individual with a pragmatic and practical mindset to drive digital marketing strategy and maturity across our global Tax & Accounting (TAA) division. The role will work closely with local marketing leads, their plans and their organizations across our division business units. As the digital marketing lead in the division, this individual will work with the teams to set goals, build program plans, be an expert resource, drive learning and collaboration and ultimately drive results -- increasing Digital Sales & Marketing maturity across our Tax & Accounting Division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be a mentor, advise and support:
Support implementation of tools and processes to drive digital marketing excellence
Be the expert, mentor and advisor on DSM tools for divisional and business resources
Drive adoption of best practices, technology and processes for DSM across our division in line with company guidelines
Build and participate in a high-performance digital sales and marketing community
Set realistic digital maturity goals and move our division forward in terms of planning and maturity
Provide recommendations on outsourcing vs in-house of tools, technology and capabilities
Manage drive to results:
Review the current and planned divisional and business unit initiatives; drive escalation as needed and recommend changes
Develop an actionable reporting process and refine division digital marketing/ecommerce KPIs
Minimum Education - Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a quantitative discipline preferred
At least 5+ years in driving comprehensive digital sales & marketing transformation initiatives in a global diverse environment: multiple, geographies, B2B and B2C, multiple channels
Demonstrated understanding of how to be successful in a matrix
Hands-on experience with Digital Marketing & Sales tools e.g. Marketing Automation (Pardot, Marketo, SFDC Marketing Cloud) & Lead Generation, eCommerce, CRM platforms (SFDC) and Data Analytics (Adobe, Google)
Influencing, advising and building solid working relationships with cross-cultural & cross-functional teams, leveraging strong interpersonal skills
Results oriented, practical, hands-on approach to getting the work done
- Project-based travel within the US and Europe (10% of time)
