Drive revenue production and field implementation of lien and due diligence Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) solution sales, along with corporate transactional services that meets or exceeds sales goals in the key law firm market
Identify sales opportunities for prospective customers, as well as maintain and expand existing customer base with UCC, corporate services and technology solutions
Give Certified Legal Education (CLE) seminars and trainings on areas of law ranging from Revised Article 9 of the UCC, to state entity laws, to jurisdictional nuances that help with document creation, recordation and retrieval
Execute and contribute to the sales process for CT products and services by staying fully informed of the prescribed sales process; understanding the complexities of selling products and services to law firms
Manage assigned account list that supports a healthy sales pipeline by reviewing target list provided;
organizing customers by segment and opportunity researching contact information for decision-makers and influencers
- Drive new account/customer development to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales and retention
goals by planning for and conducting prospecting/introductory calls with sufficient volume to establish full calendar of in-person meetings
- Maintain and grow existing customer business to meet weekly, monthly and annual sales and
retention goals by contacting or meeting with existing clients in sufficient volume and with appropriate regularity to stay informed of their organizational structure, business needs, and the value provided by
existing CT solutions
Juris Doctorate and/or practicing attorney with experience related to commercial finance, corporate law, lending practices, or secured transactions and a minimum of five years of outside sales experience
Experience practicing in a law firm in finance, corporate or real estate, along with secured transactions exposure
Experience with UCC filing and lien searches
Strong sales ability and experience selling transitional legal services to law firms
Experience creating and presenting tailored presentations to all levels of the organization from senior partner to end users of products and services; including CLE approved presentations
Experience negotiating contracts and managing budgets
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
