CCH® Tagetik is looking for a talented Technical Specialist and Support Administrator to join our team in Stamford, CT.


This is an opportunity to work as a Technical Specialist and Support Administrator for an innovative software company in downtown Stamford. As Technical Specialist and Support Administrator, the candidate will be in charge of learning how to manage Tagetik software technical implementations, as well as assist the support team with resolutions for customer support tickets. Also, the candidate might be allocated to specific internal projects (as a developer) and he/she will be supporting the pre-sales team as a technical expert.

Skills (Required experience):

  • At least 4 years of experience with J2EE application server such as JBoss , Weblogic , Websphere

  • Strong understanding of DBMS concepts (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL and SAP HANA)

  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and understanding of network environments (Wired and Wireless)

  • at least 4 years of experience with the following technologies: Linux (e.g. Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat), Windows Server , Active Directory, VMWare, Hyper-V, Firewalls, wireless, routing, switching

  • Hands on expertise in server side (Java) and front-end (HTML5 technologies) programming is a plus


  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (including technical writing)

  • Problem solver

  • Strong attention to details

  • Fast learner

  • Self-motivated


  • Bachelors or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physical Sciences or equivalent experience
