As a Junior Product Owner your key responsibility is working with and assisting the Product Owners within an Agile development team to come up with powerful solutions to business problems within the TeamMate software. Day to day activities include being a liaison between Product Support and Development, working with developers and quality assurance to ensure requirements are understood, and assisting in documentation of user stories and defects. The goal is to eventually become well versed in the product, markets, and development process to become a functioning Product Owner that can represent the voice of the customer on an agile development team.
Additional ongoing activities include involvement in various Product Management activities like contextual design, user focus groups, conferences, and surveys that are done to validate the direction of the software.
Acts as a liaison between Product Support and Development. Engages with support on a daily basis to ensure issues that have passed Tier 3 are reviewed and escalated appropriately
Participates in development feature team activities to assist and grow into the Product Owner role
Helps setting up data for user acceptance testing
Participates in user acceptance testing under the direction of the Product Owner
Documents defects and user stories as needed during sprints
Assists with research activities under the direction of the Product Owner
Contributes to organizational success by sharing subject matter expertise by participating in user forums on an annual basis; teaching classes and serving as a backup trainer; participating in general session presentations; writing and maintaining user documentation, system protocols, procedures, and reference material.
Represents Wolters Kluwer by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Wolters Kluwer products, industry trends and general business and financial acumen through various sources and initiatives; communicating in a professional, compelling, and articulate manner of speech, writing and formal presentation; behaving in ways that demonstrate corporate core values and culture; developing professional and positive relationships with customers and colleagues; and maintaining a reputation of competence, integrity and professionalism.
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline; OR, if no degree, 2 years of business analysis experience.

2 years of Internal Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, or Compliance experience
