Perform complex research and analysis of insurance statutory and regulatory materials used to prepare content that is used in the development and maintenance of our insurance compliance products
Produce accurate and comprehensive production submissions by identifying all regulatory actions within product scope
Respond to complex customer inquiries regarding product content and regulatory clarification often involving contact with individual State Insurance Departments and other agencies and coordinates responses to complex requests
Contribute significantly to the development and maintenance of our compliance-based products
Categorize regulatory content according to pre-set schemas using Web-based and other production tools
Review content developed by others for content accuracy and style
Identify trends in content areas and translates into new product development and existing product enhancement suggestions
Obtain and apply a working knowledge of current technologies in the specific business unit
Develop understanding of customer and market, applies this understanding to enhance products
Develop contacts and build relationships with state agencies and representatives of state legislative bodies
A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in insurance or legal industry; compliance and regulation experience preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; legal education or J.D. preferred
Experience working with individual State Insurance Departments and insurance industry professional designations preferred
Strong practice systems development skills, as well as broad computer systems and applications knowledge
Strong analytical and organization skills with the ability to work in a team environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
