Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the sales processes, tools, customers, and the industry as a whole
Maintain a high-level mastery of all processes and procedures including rules of engagement, sales forecasting, target setting, and territory mapping
Establish and drive the implementation of sales processes and tactics
Manage the collection of sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Manage the evaluation and interpretation of data and identify trends that signal new opportunities or challenges/dangers; convert data trends into actionable sales processes and tactics
Drive the sales training function to maximize sales effectiveness
Manage a team of direct reports
Manage and control departmental expenditures
Develop and maintain knowledge of WK products, industry trends and general business and financial acumen through various sources and initiatives
A minimum of ten years of progressive sales, sales operations and/or management experience, with at least four years of experience leading a team in sales operations
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Extensive experience in sales, sales reporting and sales analysis, as well as experience developing successful programs executed by field sales
Experience with progressive sales automation systems with the ability to improve sales productivity, based on use of sales automation
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with Sales Management Software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs such as SalesForce.com and Sales Logix
Excellent communication, project management, analytical and research skills
Ability to travel up to 30%
