Implementation Consultant -- Financial Risk & Compliance -- 18-20053 This is a remote position and does not require daily in office attendance. Expected travel is up to 40% per year for client meetings and/or meetings at a Wolters Kluwer location. As an Implementation Consultant you will assist our banking,securities and insurance clients in meeting compliance program management goals with the Compliance Program Management (CPM) product. http://www.wolterskluwerfs.com/onesumx/compliance/compliance-program-management.aspx RESPONSIBILITIES: * Facilitate and lead customer engagements through consultative services providing recommendations and industry best practices for Compliance Program Management including Regulatory Change Management, Risk and Control Assessments, Testing, Issues/Action Management, Complaint Management and other Compliance functions * Ability to understand and align customer business requirements with system functionality and industry best practices * Create and deliver customer specific documentation as it relates to their system configurations and business requirements * Conduct product training and support the UAT phase of the project * Understand a wide range of risk and compliance management concepts, including regulatory change management, workflow, risk assessments and testing functions (banking/securities/insurance) * Partner with client business, technical and project teams to deliver software systems and professional services to meet customer needs and expectations * Work with internal partners to support all aspects of implementations including Sales, Product, Content Management groups and Technical Support as needed * Contribute to the analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of client engagement deliverables * * * Participate in the management of the scope, budget and resources involved in the professional services engagements * Identify work items and participate in the development of Statement of Work for client engagements


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or relevant career experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in banking or securities compliance program management as an Implementation Consultant or within a financial institution


  • Strong working knowledge of a broad set of risk and compliance management concepts and best practices in the financial services sector including Regulatory Change Management, Risk and Control Assessments, Testing, Issues/Action Management, Complaint Management and other Compliance functions

  • Ability to explain risk and compliance management concepts and practicesin an easy to understand manner

  • Ability to lead onsite or remote requirements gathering sessions and translate those requirements to system configurations and recommendations

  • Experience as the lead implementation consulting managing engagements with institution project teams

  • Ability to conduct onsite or remote product training

  • Understanding of software development using multiple life-cycle methods, as well as working knowledge of project management methodology and best practices

  • Manage multiple clients/simultaneously

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook

XML/SQL/Data Mapping is a plus

  • Strong analytical, trouble shooting and team-based problem solving skills

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (on average 1-2 weeks out of most months)
