Wolters Kluwer Product Manager - Innovation in Waltham, Massachusetts

This position is responsible for managing the product management activities for the Wolters Kluwer Health -- Clinical Effectiveness Innovation Lab. These activities include working cross-functionally to ensure that our solutions are meeting customer needs, are prioritized appropriately, provides appropriate return on investment, and supports the strategic direction of CE. This role can be based out of our Waltham, MA, Hudson, OH or Indianapolis, IN office.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Identify market problems and work with Product Innovation leadership to prioritize projects

  • Contribute to the development of business plans, forecasting, pricing and positioning of the innovative product concepts

  • Lead new innovative product research efforts and take them from ideation through the stage gate process

  • Lead customer interview sessions and provide analysis of key findings related to market problems and specific workflows

  • Develop wireframes of specific workflow solutions to solve the customer's problems

  • Manage the development and execution of comprehensive, strategic product development and partnership plans aimed at delivering innovative, effective, and highly competitive products and solutions driving positive and meaningful business growth.

  • Working in conjunction with Finance, Content, and Technology, evaluate resources invested in supporting product lines to ensure appropriate resource allocation that drive business performance.

  • Provide product and market leadership for the prototype and engineering team to execute the development of prototypes and functional applications for pilot research

Other Duties

  • Participate in all relevant meetings and assume a leadership role in these meetings as needed.

  • Participate in all corporate training, company initiatives and performance planning exercises.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education: A Bachelors is required. MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of technology product management experience

  • Experience with Agile development processes

  • Healthcare experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated presentation skills required

  • Demonstrated leadership skill are required
