Wolters Kluwer's Governance, Risk & Compliance division is looking for a Regulatory & Risk Specialist to join our Finance Risk & Reporting team.

Finance, Risk, & Reporting (FRR) offers financial risk, regulatory reporting and finance solutions to the financial services market. This business area brings its solutions to market as Wolters Kluwer Financial Services (WKFS).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Product expertise, immediate and mid-term vision and focus, and execution of growth plans for one or more products of our products

  • Act as the product Subject Matter expert for the specified product

  • Understand market trends and articulate needs in the form of product requirements and functional designs

  • Be proactive in product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors in the marketplace

  • Support marketing programs & sales activities for new products or enhancements

  • Participate in the entire lifecycle and integration of the product and roadmaps, working closely with development teams and other product managers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

o Experience as a regulatory reporting senior analyst/team lead in a financial institution or as a regulator

o Product management or marketing within the financial services industry

o Business analysis experience, specifically in assessment, interpretation, and documentation of functional requirements

o Product lifecycle management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Basel Capital Adequacy Reporting

  • Experience with Canadian regulations, specifically OSFI (Office of Superintendent of Financial Institutions) financial regulations

  • Agile development process

  • Pragmatic Marketing

  • Technology experience with items such as RDBMS (SQL/Oracle), Web Applications, Reporting (dimensional and/or relational)

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Presentation Skills - to develop and confidently present content

  • Interpersonal Skills - to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and regulators

  • Meeting Management Skills - to lead meetings, as appropriate, toward constructive outcomes
