Wolters Kluwer/Clinical Effectiveness is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, to join our team in either Waltham, MA or Chicago, IL. There may be an option for remote, for the right candidate.

The Senior Financial Analyst will help facilitate the corporate financial reporting needs and play a key role in the planning process. This position will partner with the business to facilitate planning discussions and activities to help meet the goals of our growing business. Responsibilities include supporting the monthly financial reporting and analysis function, forecasting specific areas within our global business, and ad-hoc data and financial analysis on a need be basis. This position is expected to drive better financial insight and analysis into our key operational areas while driving greater financial controls and leadership for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

∙ Responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial data in a meaningful way.

∙ Support the month-end financial reporting process. This will consist of preliminary report generation to ensure accurate closing of monthly financials and post close in depth financial reporting.

∙ Key resource in the planning and execution of the corporate forecasting process, including the annual budget and long range planning.

∙ Provide operational and business insight for key metrics across multiple functional areas.

∙ Analyze, track and report on all assigned costs and/or revenue in comparison to approved planning/forecasting benchmarks. Drive efficiencies in data collection and improve upon data analysis tools.

∙ Lead strategic initiatives that drive growth and operational improvements.

∙ Foster cross-functional relationships and assist in ad-hoc analyses of complex business issues.

∙ Various ad-hoc projects as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

∙ Bachelor's degree or equivalent of experience in Accounting or Finance.

∙ 3 years minimum experience in FP&A, 5-8 years of corporate FP&A experience preferred.

∙ Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to drive fresh thinking and perspective.

∙ Microsoft Office experience with strong modeling skills in Microsoft Excel is a must

∙ Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization.

∙ Strong written and oral communication skills.
